It has been a while since I last wrote about dodgeball club because the other days after the last entry was a bit boring and repetitive. However, today was a memorable day because it was the first dodgeball day back from spring break. Today was a bit like dodgeball on February 17 because once again, I was the only one left on my team and had to try and win. It was very difficult because the two people against me were my classmates that were really good at throwing. I knew I had no chance of winning because 1) I cannot throw 2) I would never be able to catch. Luckily, I had my other classmates cheering me on again and that really made me feel much better. Sadly, I lost to one classmate catching the ball...at least I didn’t lose to being hit.
This dodgeball meeting was also fun because not a lot of people showed up. It was less crowded so more games were played and the teams were not too big. Also, by the end of the day, it was mainly seniors and juniors left, so we kept playing juniors vs. seniors games. The juniors, surprisingly–because there were so much more seniors than juniors–won many times. At times, it started becoming hilarious when my classmates brought in trash cans as defense (although Mr. Rabinowitz was not too fond). Yet some seniors did it too, so by that point, it became more random fun than a proper game.
