Yearbook: October 6, 2016

Today, I decided to join yearbook club! Two weeks ago, I went to the first meeting, but it was postponed to this week. It was really fun because I was able to think creatively, which I never get a chance to do anymore with all the school work. We discussed themes for the yearbook and the general pages we would have since the theme had to be finalized by next week. I think it went really well, and I was able to get to know some of the seniors.

I think I will really enjoy yearbook once we get to the creating stage. Currently, we are just thinking of ideas, but not really finalizing it. I cannot wait to start learning how to design the yearbook online and finalizing the actual copy.

I’ve only been in a yearbook club briefly in 6th grade, but I never got a full designing job because of the little space they had for the club. I only joined when they started finishing up the yearbook video, so I edited some of the video, but not the book. That is why I decided to join yearbook in the first place. I want to use my creative skills and make up for the lost time in 6th grade yearbook club. :)
